Early Intervention yields better results.
Some children have more difficulties learning to communicate. Their first words might be delayed, or they have difficulties combining words to express themselves. Their ability to communicate appears to be slower than that of their peers.
For these children, early intervention may be needed to help them communicate, which will in turn reduce the frustrations faced by these children or their families.
Each child is unique. Hence we structure individualized therapy for each child and their family. We offer speech therapy for children from about 18 months of age.

By the time children are 3 years old, they have relatively clear speech and can be understood by strangers 75% of the time. By 4 years of age, their speech is as clear as that of an adult’s.
Some children have difficulties producing speech sounds precisely. Speech therapy may help to address these difficulties.
By the time children are 2 years old, they are able to combine a few words to form a short phrase or sentence. By the time they turn 4 years old, they are able to tell you in full sentences what had happened in school.
For some children, this ability to speak in short phrases or sentences does not come naturally. Language intervention is designed to help them to express themselves beyond single words.
Our team is here to guide children and their families every step of the way throughout their journey to better speech and language skills.

A child’s language and cognitive skills determine his / her ability to understand written text and to write in sentences. For children whose language difficulties were not resolved by the time they enter school, reading, writing and mathematics may become difficult. These students are at risk of dyslexia and dysgraphia.
Learning requires cognitive or thinking skills. We use a number of cognitive intervention approaches such as Feurestein’s Mediated Learning Experienced approach as well as Instrumental Enrichment Program to help students become more active thinkers and independent learners.
Schedule this service today to ensure that your child is getting the support he / she needs to cope with the academic demands of school.
